DSX is sized right – starting with the economical DSX-40, progressing to the DSX-80,and reaching maximum system capacity with the DSX-160. To maintain the value of your investment, all the circuitry of a DSX-80 can be migrated to the DSX-160. Even when growing from the DSX-40, your investment in programming, telephones, and other station equipment is retained.
DSX IntraMail The ability to add voice mail is built into the system and only requires an IntraMail compact flash card to activate. IntraMail is a full-featured Voice Mail Auto Attendant system that will transfer incoming callers and record Voice Mail messages.
NEC's legendary reliability and quality standards are evident in the innovative DS1000/2000 32-bit architecture.
This new concept features Digital Signal Processor (DSP) technology, onboard flash memory and field software upgrade ability
that means you can grow the system as you grow your business - while keeping your initial installation investment in common
equipment intact. Simplified one-pair wiring means your initial installation and future add-ons can be quick and economical.
DS1000
The compact DS1000 starts with 3 lines, 8 digital stations and 4 analog ports. It expands to 6 lines, 16
digital stations and 8 analog ports just by plugging in a single expansion board. It has built in features such as Caller
ID, Caller ID logging, interfaces for standard phones which can include cordless instruments and an interface for a door answer
box.

DS2000
The basic DS2000 system is available with 4 slots and 48 ports. It is easily upgradeable to 8 slots and
104 ports by upgrading to a 104 port cabinet. Meaning it can support 1 to 64 lines and 1 to 96 digital stations. The DS2000
supports T-1 access capability which lets you take advantage of the cost savings available when using a T-1 connection. It
also gives you the flexibility of Direct Inward Dialing (DID line signaling).

quickly and efficiently. Answering Machine Emulation lets you screen calls to filter out unimportant calls before you answer.
Conversation Record lets you record a conversation when you can't take notes fast enough, and Remote Message Notification
can let you know of a voice message left after hours.
